These are based on the reputation of the company all over, their sales and profits and keeping every point of business in aspect. The top 20 list have companies from different Areas like computers, food, business, travel and many other.
But point of concern for us, 3 major companies which are always talked about online, Apple, Google and Microsoft are one of the top 20 admired companies in America.
Ist - Apple, an American multinational corporation targeting on electronic customers and building products related to electronic industry, products such as Laptops, Ipods and few others such as software products. Operating about 200 stores all over the world and one of the biggest online store where hardware and software products are sold. Formerly called as Apple Computer, Inc., this company has been running since more than 30 years and has gained such reputation to reach the Rank 1 of the Top 20 Admired companies in America. Surely deserved rank for Steve Jobs, CEO & Co-founder of Apple Inc.

IVth - Google, a rival on the Internet world.. Web’s best search engine. American public corporation since 1998. Its ways of earning income are Internet search, web-based e-mail, online mapping, office productivity, social networking, and video sharing. Larry Page and Sergey Brin co-founded it and its also earning by selling their products without advertisements. Googleplex, their headquarters is located in Mountain View, California and has branches and offices worldwide and has thousands of employers. Their online reputation gave them the well deserved 4th rank.
XVIth - Microsoft, American multinational computer technology corporation with 79,000 employees in 102 countries. This is a world class and known company for developing, licensing and selling gadgets and products, most of which include computer softwares. Couple of their best products are Microsoft Windows operating system and the Microsoft Office suite of productivity software. Company’s high levels can be shown by its 4 billionaires and 12,000 millionaire employees. It ranked 16th in the Top 20 list.

I am glad to see the Coffee giants Starbucks in that list as well. Too bad they do not have any future plans to open any cafe in India, due to some cost factor. Despite the fact that they are the largest chain of coffee cafe.
Cisco systems is another surprise package. Nice innovative technology. And good impression in the US tele soap: 24.
