Ashton Kutcher, the biggest celebrity on twitter has got 1 million followers and won the race against CNN breaking news account, which still did not reach the count of 1 million few minutes after Ashton did it. @aplusk and @cnnbrk both were very much talked about on twitter since a couple of days, and it did not take too long to reach the Biggest milestone ever in the Twitter history.

Twitter has been playing with its own system, and sometimes the count was shown nearing 2 million(as of time of writing, the count was 1,999,544 which is double than the actual count) but finally, the correct count just came out with Ashton crossing 1,000,000 followers count.
Why people suggested others to follow Ashton?
He is donating 10,000 mosquito nets to fight malaria if he wins the race, and its people who can help him win the race. So they had to follow him and suggest to others, for the cause.

The creator, executive producer, and host of the MTV celebrity prank show Punk’d for which he’s got big fame all over, is the highest follower count holder on twitter till today, and is followed by the CNN account.
CNN could not win the race and it posted the same here.
