BarCamp: Are you joining in?

Barcamp is an open, participatory workshop-events where conferences are every participant can provide their content and give all kind of participation in the camp. There are many topics always discussed and they mostly rely on early-stage web applications, and related open source technologies, social protocols, and open data formats.

The meetings are held all over the world in various countries, and this time I’m lucky to see it happen in my city, Hyderabad and the camp is named BarCampHyderabad5.
It is going to be held on 16th February 2008, Saturday in 3 major cities of India, namely Hyderabad, Pune and Mumbai.

So starting off with the theme, it is Social web and beyond. Here the main topics that would be talked about are -

  • Social Web and Beyond
  • Opensource and Emerging Technologies
  • Product/Prototype/Idea Demos

This is the address where the latest Google office is located and many Hyderabadis might be knowing about the Satyam Building, opposite to which the Office is located.

Timings -
The camp starts off at 10:30am and ends at 5:30pm and is a single day event, so no stress out!

Please make sure you register here. Only people whose names are here will be permitted in by Security. Mention your affiliation also. Please carry some form of identification Driver’s License, PAN card, college ID Card, company ID Card, voter id card.

So make sure to edit the page and give your entry there to participate.
