This is not a paid review, just sharing it as i loved it when i used it.
You might be knowing many URL shortening services like tinyurl, ezurl, myurl, shurl etc. but most of them would not be showing stats of number of clicks etc. And most of them except tinyurl, would not allow you to make custom extensions to the short URL.
But i came across bit.ly through a tweet of one of my friends, i just loved the simplicity there.
First of all, its a very small domain name, bit.ly and then, it allows users to create custom URLs there for any long URL.
The screenshots below would explain more about it. It also provides the thumbnail of the URL which is being shortened, the number of clicks produced, and a mirrored URL for backup.

@Varun – Tinyurl also has lately given the option of adding your own desired word behind the domain name. Please do check that
