Blackberry bold mobile which is like the new generation phone of Blackberry, was going to be released by the mid of July is now going to be a month late due to a few issues with the gadget.
The smartphone with great features should have been released by the next 15 days with AT&T network and its still not certified by them due to a few problems which includes issues with the battery life.

The delay is for sure as the phone should have been certified till now if it was to be released by mid-july. Here are the issues that the phone is facing and the developers are working on -

• Software issue to be compatible totally with the AT&T network.
• Battery life is less and phone gets heated up soon.
• 3G radio eats up battery in a speedy rate than normal.

One of the serious problems is that similar to Nokia N95, if the 3G radio is kept On then the battery is drained within a single day, and can’t run longer. This is not the normal case in other smartphones.
Research in Motion and AT&T are both working and checking on the issues and trying to fix them as soon as possible, as the gadget geeks are already awaiting the phone to arrive, just like the iPhone 3G which is going to be released on July 11th 2008.

Hope Blackberry and AT&T network try to resolve the issues with the battery and not go more delayed with it.
