I don’t use any blockers, firefox, what have you, and I only get the same two popups anyone else get, Live Jasmin and party poker, so why use a browser that slows your browsing with it’s “popup blocking technology”? When you get the same resuilts without it?

I have the pop-up blocker enabled in kaspersky, and in my browser, yet I STILL get partyporker pop-ups/pop-unders.
Another one that makes it through the blockers is “live jasmine” which has a streaming video of some random girl in her underwear on it, which takes up a lot of bandwidth. Not fun when you are trying to watch a streaming movie or tv show, lags the stream. A lot of sites that stream tv shows or music(pirated or not) tend to have these sort of pop-unders.

Partpoker.com spam window is opened no matter what. AdBlock does not stop it, this Chrome setting doesn’t, ‘no more windows’ Chrome extension does not stop it either. So what else code may be run against all settings and security measurements? This does not feel safe.

i have opened options – than under the hood but it doesn’t give me an option “notify me when a pop up is blocked”….also I want to completely BLOCK pop ups especially when watching movies…really need help bc its getting out of hand. i could be watching a movie and all of the sudden the ads, especially for video games start playing…need help desperately. thanks for help you can give.

i have checked that my pop ups are blocked on chrome and have updated my anti virus, i still continue to get pop ups, even when i dont have chrome open. should i download a pop up blocker, if so which ones are reputable? or do i have a serious virus that my anti-virus is not picking up? please help!

Now there is a button named Content on the Under The Hood Tab. It brings up a window with four Tabs. The last is popups AND it still doesnt work properly. I like Chrome… but the a d u l f r ie findr ads are out of hand expecially for my 6 year old. Grrr…

Yes – just like naval, I’m having that problem in the new version. The options are different, and the popup blocker option is no longer there. I’m getting popups again since updating to the new version, and I can’t figure out how to turn them off. Help!
