Blogger trick – Remove navbar in Blogspot blog
In a blog hosted at blogger.com, you would always see a default navbar in the top of the blog page, and it has a search box, flag option etc.
There are a couple reasons why you would like to remove the navbar in your blogger blog -
1. The professionalism of the blog is not maintained. Really, the blog does not look good with the navbar.
2. Sometimes you do nothing wrong, but someone flags your blog through the option in navbar, so you are in risk.
So here is how to remove the navbar in blogger template -
Go to your blog settings > Layout > Edit HTML
Find this -
/* Variable definitions
====================
Above that, paste this -
#navbar-iframe { display: none !important; }
And save the setting. You are done and the navbar is gone! Pretty easy huh!

nice information there chetan . . . i always thought that due to the navbar the site really looked stupid and as if i was page in some social networking site . . . .this really helps in making it look better.

This trick is awesome and easy, i dont run blogger blogs but do own very old ones will try to update them with this trick to make sure others dont Flag them by mistake.

@Harry i never a rule against it. I have the navbar removed in a few of my blogs and nothing has happened till now.

@Joel: I prefer BlogSpot because it’s free and it has unlimited bandwidth. No downtime because our blog is hosted in Google’s servers.
