BSNL EVDO coverage in Bangalore

BSNL EVDO in Bangalore has been there since 2008 and slowly, there are more than 40 towers with the BTS that have been setup in the time being, and high speed internet is available within a few kms range of each tower. BSNL EVDO device is easily available, but coverage is not same everywhere.

BSNL EVDO service needs the towers to have their own BTS, and so within a few kilometers range of each tower, the network can be accessed and data can be loaded through the EVDO service. Hyderabad is the only city with many towers having EVDO coverage, in Andhra Pradesh. Check the BSNL EVDO coverage in Bangalore.

BSNL Evdo Wireless broadband service

After Tata and Reliance, it is now Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited which has introduced USB data cards for wireless internet service, and speeds of which can reach to 2.4 MBPS.

It is called as EVDO Card.
There are no registration charges, and activation cost is Rs. 250.

EV-DO Device cost = Rs. 7,500

Right now, the speed of broadband available is 144 kbps and after the CDMA EVDO card is introduced, the speed of 2.4 Mbps can be reached.
Rental cost is Rs. 250 per month.
Still it is not available everywhere, but only in selected cities.

And the download/upload is unlimited.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has come up with high speed Internet connectivity plans with the ISP connectivity speed of 8Mbps. Prices vary from Rs 2000 to Rs 15000 per month and there are 3 different plans available. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited had introduced unlimited packages for big businesses and companies. Generally, big companies need large number of connections and that too in a high speed to connect to various networks outside.

And for this, buying small connections with limited download/upload usage is not suitable, so big businesses generally go for unlimited broadband packages for internet connection. For unlimited package subscribers, there are 4 different plans, which are again the regular and plus plans -

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited offers broadband connection to home users who want to work more and download in an unlimited rate. There are home plans in which the download/upload is unlimited and so no need to sit at nights for free browsing. Again, similar to the other BSNL broadband plans, in the unlimited home packages, there is an option to pay one time for annual connection.

Here are the plans for the Unlimited home broadband services by BSNL -

BSNL Dataone Broadband Review

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, a nation-wide telephone services provides broadband internet connection through copper wire infrastructure. The services provide internet connections from speeds of 256Kbps to 8Mbps to businesses. Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line or ADSL system installed in, provides always-on features by which if the router is on, the internet automatically gets connected without any other procedures involved.
DataOne home and DataOne business are two different tariff packages involving different speeds for internet connectivity. Apart from normal web browsing, there are other services like VPN, Multicasting, Video Conferencing, Video-on-Demand, Broadcast application which are going to be added very soon by BSNL.

Rs 250 is charged for installation, and security deposit is Rs 500.
