dear friednds
accidently i changed google.ae to google.com in chrome

first make http://www.google.com as default search engine in internet explorer.

Then in open chrome window
Go to tools
import bookmark and setting from IE

Go to tools, click options

You will get http://www.google.com as additional option

select that and close.

now search….the search will be from http://www.google.com

I installed chrome in my pc…default search engine is google.hk i want to change it to google english. i am trying to do it as you described in this page..but it was not accepting the changes..iam entering name google
keyword http://www.google.com/intl/en/
url http://www.google.com/intl/en/

even then ok button is disabled..can you please suggest me what shall i enter in url.

You are right if you want to change between Google and Yahoo or MSN, but if you want to change between Google and Google? I mean when I installed Google Chrome the search engine installed by default was Google but google.fr and all the results I get come in French, I would like to change it to Google.co.uk, I cannot find the way how to do it and get it by default!!!
