inetwork testHere is a tool which can help you test your network speed in iPhone, which can be called as iNetwork.
Apparently, i tested it just through my apple macbook and it showed the speed, and mentioned that it’s not the Apple iPhone which is being tested. So this tool is accurate and it recognizes if you have connected iPhone to the laptop or not.

Not sure if you can directly check the speed through your iPhone or not, will confirm soon.

Already 523,637 Tests are taken. This test downloads an image of a known size and calculates the time it took. There are many factors that contribute to network speed such as the type of network (edge/wi-fi), the number of users on the network, and the server that hosts the image.
