TabCloser – This firefox add-on is a perfect one to close multiple tabs which are sharing the same home domain address. This often happens when you are in a couple situations like -
- Browsing a website in which every inner page opens in a new tab, and so many tabs are opened in no time when you are trying to view some inner pages.
- When you are comparing various google search results pages, and have many of the tabs of Google search open at a time.

And along with the multiple tabs of same domain, there might be some other tabs which you don’t want to selectively close down. So to make things easier, this firefox add-on named TabCloser does the perfect job by closing down the tabs of same domain name.

But one disadvantage with this add-on is – It does not close the tabs of sub-domain similarity. Like if you are on mail.yahoo.com and live.yahoo.com and want to close both down, it does not work. Although they both are under yahoo.com domain.

Its a handy add-on for web developers and people who use a few websites but browse a lot within.
