So the month of February ends, and time to check for the monthly stats. To check how much did i work to reach my goals which i had set in the starting of the month.
Here are the stats for this month till today -
Unique visitors - 3472
No. of visits - 5405
Pages - 33564
Hits - 119883
Main referers -
Stumbleupon, Google, Digitalpoint forums, amitbhawani.com/blog, blogstorm.co.uk and other blogs.
No. of subscribers - 53(Target was 100 this month, probably my posts didnt impress my visitors)
No. of posts this month - 32(Target was 25 for this month, so happy that i could always get something in mind to write about)
No. of comments is 175(Was 29 before i set the goals last time)
My goals for March 2008
Almost thrice to last time. i.e. 300 comments, atleast 200 subscribers, and 40 posts this month

My suggestion would be dont make real big goals compared to last month stats, go slow, target long term , try to achieve results in steps.
I started with no traffic and now my blog gets 98% Google Traffic which crossed 42000 uniques & 0.4 million page impressions and yes this is all from 100% genuinely free traffic. Dont just work on getting subscribers because thats for guys who want to market their products/sponsors. Target free SE traffic which will always stay.

Digital Point always gives good traffic if you have your blog url under “Recent Blog URL” that shows under your post :p
Apart from that, google is the most traffic sender. My teen forums gets 90-100% google traffic and which is responsible for making it active

40 posts a month? wow. I would stick with 1 per day so nearere 30 and the odd double post day. Thats just me though.
