Do-follow tags in comments : Plugin
January 15th, 2008 | View Comments
And now, for the advantage of the commentors, i have installed the DoFollow plugin by kimmo.
So the commentors can enjoy commenting with a valid backlink to their website.
All of my other blogs has no-follow tag but this blog is selectively having the do-follow now for the benefit of the viewers/commentors. Will be trying to add more plugins which will help the viewers and commentors for better accessibility.
If you want to have your comments do-followed, then follow these basic steps:
* Download this dofollow plugin
* Upload it to your wp-content/plugins/ folder.
* Go to wp-admin/Plugins page, and activate the plugin.
* You are done!
Enjoy commenting for free links, and if you have no-follow free tags in you blog, please do let me know

Be sure to enable moderation btw if you use dofollow I’m sure there’s a lot of spammers out to take advantage by posting meaningless posts.

Yeah, having moderation enabled is a must. Glad to see that you removed the no follow tag. I have done this as well on my web directory blog, but have not yet blogged about it. Think I’ll do so now.

I have been using this plugin from day one on my blog and it is a great way of encouraging people to leave comments. But have to agree moderation has to be turned on.

Hi Chetan,
This plugin will get into many outgoing links from our blog … like u can see from ur blogging contest post … there are many comments and so result to many outgoing links … will this not effect ur blog ???
So is it still worth using this plugin ?
Puneet’s last blog post..Adsense is not best always, You should keep your other Options ON always.
