Google Chrome automatically updates to a newer version when one is released. The update process happens silently, whether or not you’re using the browser at the time. If Google Chrome is open at the time of the update, you must close the browser and restart for the new version to launch.

To see if a manual update is available or to check your version number, follow these steps:

Click the Tools menu .
Select About Google Chrome.
If there is an update available, an Update button will be available. Click the button and restart the browser to use the latest version.

when do you erace pages this is a system that needed and was repaired that is the update i want chrome .3—- instead i get this the doesn’t work right.

WHEN DO YOU GET RID OLD OUT OF DATE PAGES. i’M TRYING TO GET UPDATE .3 ANDS THIS IS HER INSTEAD AND WE KNOW IT DOESN’T WORK RIGHT.

Ya I found it. When you click the wrench, go to “about google chrome” and you will see at the bottom of the screen that comes up “checking for updates”. It only goes for a second, then tells you if its up to date.
