Download Wikipedia offline version – Wikipedia for Schools
Wikipedia is the first site that comes into mind when you are thinking from an educational side, and students generally prefer Wikipedia over other information websites, when they have to refer about something related to their education.
Still, some universities have blocked wikipedia in their servers or wi-fi areas due to many reasons, one of them being mis-use during examination times. There is no access for many students to Wikipedia site although they have the internet access. For them, the offline version of Wikipedia would be an awesome help.
This is particularly for students aged 8-18 years and related to their educational topics. It is called “Wikipedia for Schools” which is a file that can be downloaded to your computer and you can use it during your offline time too.
Its nearly 3 GB in size and can be downloaded through Bittorrent or Limewire. The entire file would have around 5500 articles that are related to educational topics of students.
Click on this link to download the file. Thanks Sizlopedia!

Pretty cool. Haven’t heard of this b4 and I use regular english Wiki almost everyday. Especially because it helps me to find great info and pics (public domain) that I can use for posting.

This file is invalid. It will not work with 5 different file-sharing program’s. Tried it on Limewire, Frostwire, Bitorrent, Utorrent, and Ares. what kind of crap is this? Must be another tactic used by the cyber bullies someone mentioned above! I knew it was too good to be true!!!
