Search Facebook from anywhere
The Search Box allows you to easily search Facebook no matter where you are. Select a friend from the dropdown to go directly to their profile, or hit “enter” to see the search results.

Get Notified
Icons on the toolbar tell you how many new pokes, friend requests, messages, event invitations, and group invitations you have.
A pop-up will notify you when your friends update their statuses and profiles, upload new photos, write new notes, or interact with you on Facebook.

Connect with Friends
Click the icon to open the Facebook friends sidebar and check out your friends’ profile pictures and statuses, along with convenient links for interacting with them on Facebook. You can sort your friends by name or by how recently they updated their status or profile.

Share Content
The Share button lets you share the page that you are currently browsing by sending it to friends or posting it to your profile.

It comes just for Firefox browser and no other browser as of now.

Login to your facebook account.
In the right sidebar, you would see a bunch of sections under the name “Bookmarks” as shown below. You have to click in the option “Groups” through which you can 1. View your joined groups 2. Open a new group. 3. Manage your previously joined groups.

After you go into the groups section, you would see in the lower section, the groups which you joined. And in the right top section, there is an option “+ Create a New Group” and you have to click on it to proceed with creation of a new group.

The new group formation process isn’t too hard as it requires you to fill some spaces and let facebook know what you want to do actually. Here is how you will see the form -

The music player application has not good features for you if you have a fan page of yours.
Music Player lets your fans listen to your most recent tracks directly from your Page. Add as many tracks as you want, and update Music Player as you create new music.

Select from the tracks that you want to play and you can anytime play the songs in your page. Its just a single click to add the application. But remember, you can not apply the application to your profile.

What you need to do -
You need to add your mobile number to get the full findme experience:-

• A free mobile client.
• Tag your locations as you move around,”At home”,Work!”,”Playing soccer” etc.
• Automatically share your tagged location with your friends.

FindMe works with all Mobile phones. It does not require GPS or additional hardware. Automatic operation is currently available for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile Smartphones and in progress for Symbian and Palm OS.
Only your last named position and the time you were there is shown. No information about your location history is stored or recorded.

How to add this application?
You can add it by clicking on add to profile, or add to page buttons on the application page and then you are sent to -

Then you have to set your phone number by entering it into the empty box given in the next page -

After this is done, FindMe requires you to download its software in your phone, link to which is sent via email or SMS to your phone. Here is what they say -

Tips to get started well -

• FindMe allows you to name where you are from your mobile e.g. home, office etc.
• This is all that appears on your Facebook profile. You control what your friends see.
• If you aren’t in a named location your position shows as Unknown.
• It will work with any mobile phone. You dont need GPS.
• You can always “Go Dark” and hide your location.
