Fix twitter update bug – Cache problem

April 22nd, 2008 | View Comments

twitter logoMany users at twitter lately have been facing problems with twitter and its updating options. Actually the twitter system has not been updating the latest updates of people whom we are following, and in my homepage i see updates of 13 hours back, and as following more than 500 people, i assume i missed about 1500 updates in this time gap. This is actually a cache refresh problem which twitter is facing.

I remember i saw this in mashable how to fix this problem.
Here is how to do it -
- Browse through anyone whom you dont follow
- Follow him
- Unfollow him
- Refresh your homepage at twitter

This will fix your update problem and you can see all the latest updates refreshed automatically everytime, as the cache gets refreshed.

Thanks to the one who actually got this fix for others.
