Free blog promotion through blogging forums
Forums have always been a great way of promoting a website and interacting with people. Especially when you become a good level member in the forums, it becomes easier for you to promote a website, and get free traffic etc. I have talked previously how to make money with digitalpoint forums, and so there are many other ways and great forums. There is also a merger contest in webmaster talk forums, where you can join to win great prizes.
So this post is specially for promotion of blogs through forums that are related to blogging. There are some good forums related to just blogging and blogger activities. There you can ask for reviews of your blog, share some blogging tips and drop your blog URL(not being too spammy though!). There are many other advantages of blogging forums, which i would be discussing later anytime when i get to write about it.
Here are a few blogging forums, that you should join and be active at, so that you can be well known as a blogger, and also can promote your blog very well. Check them out and share if you know more blogging forums.

COOL. I’m also a member of those (almost all). But I used to be active only in digitalpoint since I noticed that what I saw in a number of forums can also be seen in DP. So why not stick to 1.

Hussein, you will notice that the forums which i mentioned are more active than the subforum in digitalpoint forums.

I get at least $15 deposited in my paypal account each month – it could be a lot more but i generally only spend about 20 minutes there each day. It’s not centered around blogging, so there’s lots to talk about and lots of people to become friends with and share your blog with

Forum is a good way of building relationships with your visitors. If you post regularly and actively discuss different topics with your forum members then gradually get to know them and more importantly they’ll get to know you.

Only few of the above stated forums are active actually. There has been good rise in new forums though but best traffic forums get you more visitors. So better to maintain your profile in few selected one and keep your self active on them. Leaving starting replies always gets more attention (In blogs commenting also).
