Tweeting about something on twitter and linking to it, gives some publicity but when it gets retweeted by many other people, it is then called viral publicity and spread. This gives more exposure to any link shared. And that’s why Twitter is not just a microblog, but a social marketing platform.

Retweet.It is a new site that i found while just checking my followers, and i loved the concept of viral marketing through this site. Exchange of retweets is the concept behind it. You get credits to retweet others tweets and you can use those credits to share your tweets and make them retweeted by others.

• You need to have at least 50 followers to work with the site
• You get 0.5 credits per retweet you do for others tweets
• You are charged 1 credit for every tweet you need to get retweeted
• You need to auth your account with the twitter credentials and the password is encrypted
