Google Buzz has just been launched and the page just gone public, but its not available for everyone already. It would take a few days for everyone to experience it. Google Buzz is a new way to share updates, photos, videos and more, and start conversations about the things you find interesting.
Here are a few features of Google Buzz that they claim -
- No setup is needed for it. It will appear below the Inbox icon in your gmail account
- It helps you import your stuff from Twitter, Picasa, Flickr, and Google Reader
- Share with your wish – Either to the entire web, or to close friends group
- Comment and share notifications are sent to your inbox, and just beside the shared item, the notification pops up
- Real time updating of comments, without any refresh needed for it
- Thumbnails of the shared pictures from popular photo sharing sites
- Recommendations of the most important and interesting posts, shared by Google itself
- Buzz can be opened and used from mobile too
- You can talk through phone on Google voice, and it transcribes to text and shares with your friends
- Google recognizes the location, and lets you search for updates from places nearby you
