Google calendar was a part of Google’s web based applications and now this has been released for download and to work with the other Desktop Gadgets which are within the Google Desktop app.
And this is for all the 3 main OS, i.e. Windows, Mac and Linux.
You might have known and heard of release of Gmail gadget lately, but now Calender gadget is also on the list of available downloads. You won’t now be needing to go to the web based calender to get catching with the business meetings, friend’s birthdays etc. as everything would be there on your gadget.
The desktop gadget is so well built that once you try to view any event, every detail about it would be displayed including the time, location map, start and end times, and attendees if the calender is used by those who are linked with.
You can also add new events and add every detail linked to it, within the desktop gadget.
You would need to have Google Desktop to install and use the Google calendar gadget. You can download the Desktop gadget from here.
This is a good Gadget that i have installed makes using the calender easy.
This is one of the things that G definitely got right……it’s a handy tool.
