And now to help the webmasters increase the speed of their web pages, Google has introduced Page Speed, a tool to improve the performance of the web pages, without any changes externally.

Page Speed tool suggests how you can improve the speed of your web page by tracking through the CSS codes of your website and letting you know which of the codes do not contribute for the external appearance of the web page. It is a firefox add-on that comes with Firebug integration.
Accd. to Google Code,

Page Speed performs several tests on a site’s web server configuration and front-end code. These tests are based on a set of best practices known to enhance web page performance. Webmasters who run Page Speed on their pages get a set of scores for each page, as well as helpful suggestions on how to improve its performance.
