As of today, Chrome is no longer BETA, it is v.2.0.172.37 - and STILL NO GOOGLE TOOLBAR! So, the lack of Google Toolbar for Chrome cannot be Google's omission, it is obviously Google's business decision!

And this is the kind of decision I cannot understand at all. In Chrome, I do not have access to my bookmarks stored in Google Toolbar and I cannot search my bookmarks. That thing alone makes me abandon Chrome in favour of a browser that supports Google Toolbar. Also, AutoFill - one of the most useful features of Google Toolbar - is missing in Chrome!

Google folks: why do you prevent us from accessing bookmarks stored at Google from Chrome? Does this make any sense at all?

I love the speed and the clean feel of Chrome. But like many I find the lack of toolbar a handicap. The search feature through the address line is fine as it goes but I use the toolbar for quick searches within sites. I still use IE7 for that type of stuff

Love the speed of Chrome, miss the toolbar. I like the feature that I can just get on my PC and click on the frames of my favorites and get my computing done for the moment. Also with my old PC, runs MUCH cooler and don't have to do a disk cleanup so often.

I see that everyone's trying to "defend" google by saying that there's no need for a search bar, but to me the Toolbar has other uses. Easy navigation to any Google service - I click, and bam! I'm there, already signed in / logged in - and the Bookmarks option; allowing me to use the same bookmarks everywhere (except on Chrome, apparently). I'd love to see the toolbar come to Chrome as well.

It's taking a long time, really!
I'm still looking for google toolbar for chrome, but I might go back to my firefox soon.
Something else weird about google team, is that they didn't add the word "google" into the dictionary associated with their chrome that I am using right now and still putting a red line under GOOGLE

Really amazing, they couldn't just have forgotten adding the toolbar. Even the new version of chrome does not have it yet.

Well I like the product, but I do miss the spell correcter on Chrome, I use it all the time, they have something like it but it does not come even close to the same quality as spell check on the G toolbar
