Mosaics are a type of images which are created with colored tiles made from regular images, and creation of these type of image mosaics is not easy unless you don’t use any tools to create them.
Foto-Mosaic is a free tool which creates mosaic from your photos and you can create a big box of tiles of brick like images which makes the image look natural. You are given an option to select the photo tiles folder to take the color folders and the images whose mosaic you want to extract.
Foto mosaic creates a database of tiles for your pictures the very first time when you use it and then you can get better mosaic of any picture if the numer of tiles in the database is larger.
Before the creation of a mosaic, you are asked to select the number of tiles to be used to create it, and the format of the final paper (portrait or landscape mode). If the number of tiles selected is more then the resulting mosaic can have more color variations and can be related to the original image, but if the number of tiles is less, then only a plain mosaic with less colors comes out which does not resemble the original photo.
The Foto-Mosaic software can be downloaded to use with Windows 98, XP, Me, NT, 2000.
The tile dataase creation may take long time but if you need some better results of mosaics, you can’t do anything else than waiting.

I use Google picasa tool to create the photo mosaics, so is there anything that can make this software greater than that? and is it worth downloading?
