Mozilla firefox has no direct option with which you can make any tabs to automatically reload for every particular time interval. And to enable that, Mozilla gives an add-on which you can install to set the tabs to reload with your wish. Its ReloadEvery add-on for Firefox.
The Reload Every extension adds an option to the context menu (the menu you obtain by right clicking on the web page you’re currently viewing) to reload the web page you are viewing every so many seconds or minutes. You can also access reload every by using the dropdown menu next to the reload button on the toolbar.
This option comes really handy when you are browsing some sites like Twitter, or any live cricket scores or news and there is no ajax to automatically update the pages.
Some basic features of this ReloadEvery add-on are -
- Gets enabled when you set any time for reloading.
- When you change the URL in the same tab, the function becomes disabled and you have to re-enable it if you want the tab to keep reloading.
- To set all tabs for reloading, you have to set the time first and then select the option “Enable all tabs”.
