How to view HTML files of web documents in mobile phone
Usually what you browse through a wap browser in a symbian phone is in a very congested way and the format of the web page in the wap browser is also disturbed as the web page is not well adjusted to the small browser.
And usually when you open a big page full of a website, which contains some online journals with images, it would just take time to adjust or sometimes the wap browser just stucks up.
For this, there is a reader software called iSilo which is a reader for HTML documents and it opens every web page perfectly.
It also tries to compress the web page in such a way as to make the memory space occupying to the least.
There is a sister application called iSiloX which helps in converting the web pages into text document i.e. .txt format to make it easier to read.
However according to softonic,
As a pay off for the mighty compression rates offered by iSilo, you unfortunately lose some links in the conversion process. Some graphic formats aren’t displayed properly when converted, but fonts and tables remain largely unaltered.
It has a high compression ratio and tries to compress the files to a minimum, so as to save the memory space in the mobile phone. Not all symbian phones are compatible for this software.
Here are the mobiles in which iSilo can be used -
Nokia 3230, Nokia 3600, Nokia 3650, Nokia 3660/3620, Nokia 6260, Nokia 6600, Nokia 6620, Nokia 6630, Nokia 6670, Nokia 6680, Nokia 6681, Nokia 6682, Nokia 7610, Nokia 7650, Nokia N-Gage, Nokia N-Gage QD, Lenovo P930, Panasonic X700, Panasonic X701, Panasonic X800, Samsung SGH-D700, Samsung SGH-D710, Samsung SGH-D720, Samsung SGH-D730.
