HTC Touch HD mobile phone review
HTC has lately produced some good mobile devices, and one of them which comes with a promising look is HTC Touch HD. Its large screen size says all of it. It is launched to compete with the similar sized touchscreen devices like Apple iPhone, Palm devices etc. and it has one of the biggest screens with 3.8″ diagonally.
Design and external features -
The design of the phone looks excellent, and a bit similar to the built of iPhone, but the screen being bigger, makes it a far better looking phone. The 3.8″ screen with resolution of 480×800 pixels is quite enough to produce and provide a perfect quality picture on the screen.
And being a touchscreen device, it has features like finger-friendly and 3D interface. Also there is a stylus provided, but you would love to use it with your finger touch itself.
Below the large screen on the front side, there are 4 touch sensitive keys, which can help in calling, ending the call and exiting applications to go to the homepage. There is a camera in the front, above the screen which helps in video-calling.
The back of the phone has a 5-megapixel camera, which similar to iPhone, lacks flash but during good light conditions, the picture quality is perfect. It has an auto-focus feature.
Multimedia features -
HTC Touch HD has got an operating system of standard Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. The connectivity options are Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, WiFi, HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps and Built-in GPS receiver. The mobile also has a perfect touchscreen interface that can add more fun to the Windows mobile usage. It also includes Pocket Office supporting MS Office documents, ActivSync, a PDF reader, RSS feeder, a Youtube client that can make it easy for browsing and viewing videos, and a business card reader is also present.
Browsing the web is possible through the famous Opera Mini web browser, which has great options like full-page view mode etc. It comes with 528MHz Qualcomm processor and 288MB RAM to make the phone processing speed faster. The 3.5 mm audio jack makes the Touch HDTM compatible with the majority of audio equipment available.
Overall, the phone is a perfect one with multimedia and touch features and a 5-megapixel camera and as the screen size is talked about, the multimedia video and audio options would be great as expected.

m using HTC Touch and its a good experience to use it.
after i bought this piece there was one more model “HTC Diamond” … gr8 features added too… and this one is really cool like an iphone
htc has always been an eye candy fone, now this one looks sharper than any other nokia fone i guess.. except few..
My kind suggest pls don’t buy the phone for the look, My own experience until the HTC works it is good, but once your face problem in warranty, Nothing is done free of cost, they cheat the end user.
