How to import RSS feed to facebook account?

Promoting a blog through social networks is always a well mentioned tip by every blogger. And this can be done in facebook by an option where you can import your blog’s RSS into a notes section in facebook.

Open applications drop-down menu, and you will find the “Notes” app in the end. Open that by clicking on the application link.

Now, after you open the notes section, there would be any previously saved notes of yours or notes that your friends have written or published. And in the middle section of right sidebar, you will see the option “Import a blog”. Click on that option to import RSS feed of your own blog.

In the import page, you would be asked for the feed page URL and remember to use your own blog feed rather than others, or violating the rules can lead to blocking you from writing any further notes.

After entering your blog feed URL, you now have to just confirm the import of blog, or still can cancel if you are not willing to import. After you confirm, it is done and facebook tries to explore for any new posts in your blog, every few hours and gets automatically updated if you have new posts in your blog.

I’ve developed blogging application for Facebook:

    http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=127423355320

It allows you to import posts from external blogs and display them at your profile (both profile box and profile tab are supported).

I think this application may be useful when you’re not satisfied with Notes.
