if u like to keep ur hands at the keyboard and get at the address bar, press F6. that’ll highligh thte address bar, ready for your input. Also, if u’ve got shortcuts like g set up, it’s a nice way to get searching quickly. I have a bunch:
g – google
gs – google scholar
d – webster dictionary
w – wikipedia
gp – google patents
gg – google groups
gm – google maps
ud – urbandictionary
…

Hello there. Thanks for this good list. Well many of features are same in firefox even for different platforms.
I just started using Solaris and it is the default browser there. Loving it.
