LG VX10000 Voyager Mobile Phone features and Specifications
The first mobile from LG which has a touch screen along with a QWERTY keyboard with all the extra keys helping in TV and web browsing. It is something similar in looks to the Nokia Navigator mobile but has touch screen, making it better.

It runs with CDMA technology so not all GSM SIM card will work on this mobile. Display is Internal LCD: 262K Color TFT, 400 x 240 Pixels, 2.81″ External Touch LCD: 262K Color TFT, 400 x 240 Pixels, 2.81″.
Email client that is preloaded with the mobile is Get it Now Mobile application. And it has high speed EVDO data transmission.
It has a USB mass storage option and also can get charged with a USB charger with the computer. It also has an integrated GPS application. A memory card slot is also there and it holds upto 8 GB of memory. But the bottom side is that the camera quality is not good, also it lacks the flash option so the quality of images and videos are not very much appreciable. And the camera is of 2 MP with 2.5x Digital Zoom which can take pictures of different resolutions like 1600×1200, 1280×960, 640×480, 320×240.
It has dual speakers for stereo sound, V CAST Music and video, music syncing from PC to phone through V CAST.
Wi-Fi isn’t available or the mobile would have been one of the best ones right now along with the navigator. It has been seen as a competitor to iPhone from Apple but still the concept of LG VX10000 and Apple iPhone is entirely different in my view.
There are not many navigator buttons on the top panel when the phone is on stand-by mode. There is a talk button, end button and a clear key which can also activate voice calling when pressed longer. According to the comparing users, the HTML browsing gives experience of browsing like on a computer but still it is not that fluid as the iPhone web browsing is.
Bottomline – The LG VX10000 is a good mobile phone to use if you are using it for business rather than just entertainment. The web browsing and connectivity is good but the camera is not upto the mark. It still can be considered as a good alternative to iPhone.
