Macbook Air really sharp enough to cut…
Digg this article here
Apple Macbook Air, thin enough to be used in a party, or in the kitchen.. or just to throw into the garbage?
I was just browsing through Techcrunch to see some interesting stories, and found that some geeks are using Macbook Air not for the actual purpose, but for the use where actually in their hands, a Knife was needed.
It was extreme stupidity, if you ask my honest opinion but anyways its enough to create a good buzz!
Rahul Sood, the CTO for HP’s Global Gaming Business, yesterday celebrated his birthday.. by cutting his beautiful choco cake with a Macbook Air, just showing how this the laptop is. His friend James Siminoff gifted him the air and it was used to invent a new way to cope up the absence of a knife.
Rahul says,
My friend over at Phonetag, James Siminoff, thought it would be funny to hand over a Macbook Air as a “gift” after we cut a cake for my birthday. I immediately used it to cut the cake, it’s so damn sharp it did a fine job. People thought it was funny enough to blog. So before this thing spreads, I thought I’d explain myself: It was a combination of wine and a hand rolled cigar that did this.
In another place, a german reports to other gadget lovers that his elbow got some fine cut with bleeding due to a cut by the sharp edge of his macbook air.

One more piece of stupidity, apple macbook being used to cut a loaf of bread and is actually really sharp to cut a couple pieces of bread very finely.
And now, Apple Macbook Air gone off with newspapers??? Here Steven Levy of Newsweek.com says that his Macbook Air has gone off with his newspapers which his wife has dumped into the plastic bin, saying -
My wife, whose clutter tolerance is well below my own, sometimes will swoop in and hastily gather the pulp in a huge stack, going directly to the trash-compactor room just down the hall from our apartment, dumping the pile into a plastic recycling bin. Sometimes the whole mess gets so nasty that I even perform this task myself. Could it be that somewhere in the stack was a Macintosh computer so thin that its manufacturer brags it could fit inside an envelope? I believe so. (For the record, my wife does not subscribe to this theory.)
As humiliating as it sounds, let me repeat: the MacBook Air is so thin that it got tossed out with the newspapers.
More stories would be coming soon, with this insane macbook air being used for not what it actually is for!

Hell, that thing is really cutting edge. Not that i’d be against having one of them, but it’s hard to stop thinking about what would happen in a car accident …

My question is, why would you actually cut food with your laptop. These dudes must be either really rich, or really bored.
Why would you cut a cake with a laptop? Surely it would be ruined.
Rich and bored I reckon. This is another reason to go on my list as to why I won’t buy a macbook air.
John
That doesn’t make any sense why that guy would actually cut himself just to prove how sharp the macbook air’s edge is. I get the point from simply the cut piece of bread.
Funny stuff dude, I guess this guy was trying to prove a point that the Macbook air is an amazingly compact laptop, but I guess it took it to an extreme LOLZ
