New gmail feature – Multiple Inboxes
The new feature in Gmail labs, named Multiple Inboxes is an excellent one for those who are into usage of labels, or starring the important mails and do want to have the inbox sectioned according to those labels etc.
The categorized mail sections in Gmail looks an awesome feature for people who would like to have their mails sent from different people regarding different things, could be labeled with particular words and those appear in seperate sections.

After you turn on Multiple Inboxes from the Labs tab under Settings, you can configure what you want to see, as well as set the number of messages displayed and the positioning of your panels from the Multiple Inboxes section under Settings.
This labs feature may not be useful for everyone, but is a good one for those who are into labels settings already and use the labels features to separate the mails.
This is a great organizational tool for the many, many e-mails that keep coming in each day…..particularly when they’re regarding completely different topics/categories.
Nice fresh new blog design, Chetan! Change is always good, I suppose! On to talking about Gmails new multiple inboxes feature…I must say that the lack thereoff, apart from being online only, has been my main grumbles with Gmail previously. However this adresses it!
@32, yes its useful for people who really have big number of emails coming everyday.
