When the mobile phones like Palm Pre, Apple iPhone 3GS and HTC Magic etc. are trying to compete each other, Nokia does not care about all that and is trying to just make mobiles from a single prototype.
As Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic got famous due to its amazing features and touchscreen, which still could not beat the iPhone, Nokia copied everything with just a few changes in the external view to release the new Nokia 5530 Xpressmusic phone.
The Nokia 5530 is a complete touchscreen phone, which got everything from its earlier one Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic phone and everything including the camera and the apps is similar to 5800.
The Nokia 5530 Xpressmusic has a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and it can capture images and videos. The memory size included in the pack would be 4GB within the microSD slot. Similar to the Nokia 5800, connectivity is through EDGE, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Is this just because some people might like the change in design and lesser pricing when compared to Nokia 5800?
The Nokia 5530 Xpressmusic is expected to come for around 200 Euros which is around 13-14k INR. So a big drop in pricing if people still want a touchscreen phone with all the multimedia features.
It would arrive in the 3rd quarter of 2009.

I love Nokia because it always come up with a different concept.
Nokia is trying very hard to get hold of the Touchscreen market now dominated by the iPhones and Palms, so it is coming up with N97, 5530 and all these kinda phones to target the touchscreen market
Nokia 5530 is atripped down version of 5800. It does not have GPS capabilities. Also it does not have 3G high speed data network capability to name the major differences.
