Opera Mini 4.1, the latest version of mobile browser by Opera has finally got installed in my phone.

Since when i installed it, i just tried to explore the new things that i can find in it, so i logged into my website cpanel to see the file upload/downlaod features, which did not work fully in control. Sometimes the page reloads for no results when i try to upload a file.
Here are my likes and dislikes about Opera Mini 4.1 -

Likes -
- The speed, a bit speeder than the older version. Am referring to the speed of the browser while opening the bookmarkes etc., and not to the connectivity to the web.
- Saving pages for future offline reference. There was no option previously to save a page for any offline reference but now i can save anything very well
- Uploading/Downloading files through the browser. The standard wap browser of any mobile, and also Opera Mini 4.0 didn’t have the option to upload or download files, but now its possible and was quite good, having some rare glitches.
- URL suggestion - While still typing for a URL in the address bar, Opera Mini suggests the list of URLs from the bookmarks and history section, if any similar URL is browsed before.

Dislikes -
- It crashes more than before. While typing something big, for some time continuosly, the browser crashes and all that i wrote was gone! So have to be careful and have to keep in mind not to type directly in the browser.
- Upload/Download not always right - Sometimes, while uploading a file, after i select a file to upload(for example an image) the page just reloads and nothing like uploading is very well seen. I tried uploading through different file upload options, like my cpanel file manager, file sharing website, also yahoo mail attachment upload. None worked very fine for me.
- Connectivity became slower - Frankly, i used to see speeder page loads before! Now its become slower and it really does not impress me as anyone first thinks about the web connectivity speed, then everything else.

Having some negative points has no effect on me actually, as its hundred times better than the ancient wap browser that comes default with the phone. So overall, i am positive with it, still Opera should have some checks in various phone models with upload features to set well.
