Even my website’s ranking dropped, though by couple of thousands only.

Strangely, we are seeing a consistent increase in the number of unique visitors through Statcounter.com, the changes in Alexa ranking are slightly dis-aligned.

Wondering, how to make our visitors install Alexa Tool bar!!!

My stayed at around the same – that means I haven’t been overemphasizing one aspect (Alexa toolbar / Link back / SEO etc.) so that’s a good thing I guess.

I hope we find more info about this soon. They say “algorithm” all the time and we never really get to know what the changes are.

Although the present rank drop, i am happy to see the changes in their way of ranking actually. As you all said, i will be getting some nice rank soon and am expecting that because its not all alexa toolbar installed visitors but am getting traffic from search engines too very well

True, and if weren’t for the new alexa rank, i’m sure chetan can easily get lower than 100k.
