I’ve run into a strange problem….

I noticed that the GA code in my website does not track my page (test page).

But.. When I transferred the same exact code sample to a different domain, the problem resolved….

Is there something else that could prevent GA from page tracking my website?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated…

Great tips. I was testing the analytics for a site that I initiated today and was starting to wonder why my visits weren’t being tracked. Thanks for letting me know it will take 24 hours for google to start posting results.

Google analytics does not use flash, it’s all Javascript based. The use of the urchin.js file has been deprecated a while ago.

The most common reason for Google not tracking your site is that you have placed the code in the wrong place or you missed a part in the copy paste.

Re flash thing: this has nothing to do with tracking the stats, right? But only for seeing the results.
