The Samsung Galaxy S4 was launched a month ago, and now a few network carries in the US have started taking the pre-orders of the device, one of them being the AT&T network. The AT&T website has listed the phone for pre-order for a price of $200 for the 16GB locked version and the unlocked one is priced at US $640. The pricing is well known even in the U.K. markets where the device would be available soon, and this is going to be a perfect competition to the already launched Sony Xperia Z smartphone and the coming HTC One smartphones which are the flagship devices from both the competitor brands for this year. For the UK market, it is Amazon which has listed the device for pre-order and it is the unlocked Galaxy S4 devices that are available for 699 Pounds, and that is quite high when compared to the same in the US market.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Price in India
The Galaxy S4 price in India is said to be Rs. 44999 and that if true, would lie in the range between the price in the US and UK for the unlocked versions of the phone. It would be available from 10th May 2013 in the Indian market, but we are yet to see any confirmed news from the company.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is the next flagship Android smartphone from Samsung for the year 2013, and it would come with the 5-inch Full HD touchscreen with the screen resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by the 1.6GHz Exynos octa-core processor in some regions, and a 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor in others. It has 2GB of RAM and a PowerVR SGX544MP3 triple-core GPU. There would be 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions of the device available, but right now its only the 16GB version which is available for pre-order, and there are expandable memory options available using the MicroSD card.
