Search, download and convert Youtube videos for iPod – Tooble
Tooble is an apple macbook application, and also a software for Windows which helps you search youtube, browse the site within itself, and then download the video and finally convert the video to mp4 format for your iPod which accepts .mp4 video files for playing.
Tooble is available for the following versions and OS -
- Macintosh – Mac OS X 10.4, Tiger or Mac OS X 10.5, Leopard
- Windows – Windows XP or Windows Vista
Here are the features of Tooble -
Browse and search within youtube – You can search for any particular youtube video by entering the title or keywords, or if you know the youtube video URL, you can go to that directly. Also, there is a perfect category list in the left column, which you can go to directly, and check for the famous videos in those particular categories.
And browsing through Tooble is very easy, as you can just select the videos and click on the download button in the bottom right to start the downloads.
Download the youtube videos – Just check the videos you want to download in the particular category, and click Download. A small window opens and status of the download is shown. Each of the video is downloaded simultaneously one after the other, and the speed of download is pretty fast.
Convert the youtube videos – Once you download the youtube videos, you will see tobble converting the videos of various formats like .avi, .flv into .mp4 format and this format can be played normally in computers, and this is the preferred format in iPod. You can have the control on the size and quality of the video being made during the conversion.
