As already said i am a blog reader more than a blogger, i love to read and comment in other blogs that to write up something in my own blog.
And so, i decided to join the RSS feed of all the blogs which have something great always to read and discussed about. And i might help in the same way, the other readers, by having a blog directory.
Would it be a wise decision to have a blog directory?
And that too a free one or a paid listings one? I got the paid thought as i want the directory to be of a super quality, and the good bloggers think about the quality and don’t feel bad to pay something for good quality listing.
Free directory would make lists of crap blogs having some good ones in between. And spammers love free links, whatever the trick may be!
The directory will not be on a separate domain, but will be as a subdomain under this domain. Like thewwwblog.com/blog-directory/
Is it a good decision in building a blog directory?
Will the bloggers support it by paying a small amount for listing into it?
I know people would say why to choose your directory when there are loads of free ones on the web? But are any of them providing you any good links? I assure to make the directory a very pure quality one.

Not a bad decision in opening a directory, but do you think google will accept it? Isn’t it against paid links?
But it would be nice to see if you make a directory helpful for readers listed with all sure quality blogs.
I dont think ppl will actually pay for this … but there are a lot of blog directories arnd the world ….
Try hydblogs.in .. its a nice blogroll gets updated with latest posts etc

I would charge a small fee just for maintaining the integrity and editorship in the directory.
Thats a great idea…
But actually people prefer to submit to free blog directories than paid ones… Though its a small amount, itll be more for some users…
And also premium blog dirs does not get all quality links.. Some important blogs with great posts may not submit on seeing the money to be paid..

Do you think it will be a good idea because google seems to penalise all kinds of directories or paid links. And directories can easily get noticed and penalised today.
