Showing some love for the commentators
I know people thought why i don’t show any respect or love towards the commentators for my blog.
Actually i was blogging through mobile since the past 15 posts, and so i had no time and no proper internet access to do something from my macbook, and today finally placed the top commentators plugin, and also threaded comments plugin.
One reason why i used to get less comments – I write everyday but what do the commentators get by writing something here, and not helping them by any means? And also the comments go in a list where i have to reply each of them like @commentor etc… which does not make good sense. So i thought people discussing in comment boxes like in forums would be a great decision ![]()
Replying individual comments make the topic more controversial and people can actually get more interested in replying one’s comments.
So these are today’s two additions -
1. Top commentators plugin – Top 6 commentators of the month will be getting free link love in the sidebar, and the list updates when a new month starts. My comments won’t count there, so 6 readers are benefited by this
2. Nested comments – This gives an option to reply to any comment individually rather than calling the name of the commentor in a separate comment. A plugin used generally to attract more comments and increase controversy in the posts.
These 2 plugins are really cool and worth using long-term. I recently had to remove the dofollow plugin due to SERP issues which i was not happy with. And people suggested to place the top commentators plugin, which i finally did ![]()
Hope ya all liked it.

I really like the Top Commentators plugin. Its good to see who are the most active contributors to discussion on your blog, plus its nice to send a link their way as a reward.

I like the nested comment feature plugin. First saw that in Shoemoney’s blog. But didn’t find the plugin at that time. Thanks for the link to the plugin Chetan. It really helps.
