New google search feature – Search the authority site
Google, one of the best search engines has included a new good tool into their search results, where people can search through any authority site with a special dedicated search box located within the search results just below the site links of the 1st result.
And till my observation, i could see this feature for some of the big profile searches like YouTube, Dmoz, Microsoft etc. one of which can be seen here for Microsoft.
This feature looks really cool and makes it easy for people to search through any big sites to search their products etc.

Hope this feature get set up for every authority site with the site links.

I noticed it with SantaBanta as well. I think it’s a great feature. Google is doing some good things these days.

SantaBanta is lucky to have that one, though i didn’t expect that for them lol..
Wondering why search for “Yahoo” doesn’t show it.. Anything between them and google?
Lol.. But can’t ignore the fact that Santabanta is a mint making site. He must be earning a hell lot.
Not sure about Yahoo. Definitely there is many things between them and Google. Big time competitors eh?
Amazingly even searching for Google won’t show any such results. They don’t even show Google as authority site (sitelinks)

Lol searching for google would not bring results, similar to alexa which has no traffic ranking
Yes, This is very nice things. My directory allthelook.com also becomes the same.

It does show up the search box for sites which could be helpful for the users, i found this long back when we search for Naukri!

Google is great. I think like popular softwares Google should keep a help file where different search rules can be kept. For example for searching specific sentence eg. where is Google ? the search should be “Where is Google?” under double quotes. For searching say photoshop brushes the search should be photoshop+brushes instead of photoshop brushes. Like this there are many tips and tricks which I think Google should keep under help section.
