Far from here, so not going but i thought its worth sharing with everyone who is in America. There is going to be a wordpress camp held in Vancouver, Canada at The Network Hub on Wednesday, i.e. April 30th 2008 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Its going to be a meet basically to share tips and exchange ideas regarding the development and to-dos of wordpress and other general blogging ideas. one more interesting topic that is going to be discussed there is reaching more audience through Social Networking websites such as Flickr, YouTube, Slideshare, Facebook, and Google Calendar.
According to the Tazzu organizers, 7 Presenters get 20 minutes each to share their ideas. There will be two 20 min. breaks, so we could socialize a bit and have a laugh. You can still sponsor the event too.
I would have loved to go for this camp as this event is about wordpress, and i always love to learn more and hear more about it and its development, but Vancouver is continents away, so can’t really find time and plans to go there only for this 3 hour camp. But if you are from a nearby town there, its a great time to spend there!

Even when I am in America … I am not going to it because it doesn’t sound as interesting to me …

WOOT! One of the advantages of living in Beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. I love how so many startups hold meetings here!

Local connections are great!
My friend goes to the same school as John Chow’s daughter (haha freaky piece of information, I know… of course I’m not stalking his family or anything *shifty eyes*)

Actually, it was an eye-opening experience, and I’m sort of disappointed that people would think bad things about John Chow. He is a really nice guy in person, and his talk was very informative and honest about how he makes the kind of money that he does. If you check my blog (I think you’re using CommentLuv, so you can quickly go to my recap), you’ll see that it was, overall, a great event.
