Yahoo homepage is more like with more information and news while for the wikipedia, it is another way for translation of dictionary with more reference.

I think Wikipedia is the best, although nobody recommends it, because everybody can edit it.

Yes, Knol will give some competition to Wikipedia, but It will take some time before it really starts to take over.
