At this level the deciding factors boil down to does it take a good looking picture, and is it easy to operate and simple to figure out. There's not much point in loading up a budget camera with complicated features that wouldn't be much use in a point and shoot to begin with. Another plus about all of these cameras is they can be found at discounted prices online, which makes them more attractive. This is a nice list of entry-level digital cameras. For me, this is important right next to the picture quality. My wife has been complaining for the last year that our digital camera's shutter speed is too slow to get pictures of our kids. I will take a look at the Samsung L100 camera noted in this post. With two kids electronics get abused quite often, so something affordable is always a plus! My wife has been complaining for the last year that our digital camera’s shutter speed is too slow to get pictures of our kids. I will take a look at the Samsung L100 camera noted in this post. With two kids electronics get abused quite often, so something affordable is always a plus!
