Toshiba, one of the good television and electronic device producing brand, has put itself into the world of mobile phones, and has come with a very challenging and good mobile handset, named Toshiba TG01 which is a touchscreen mobile phone, with some points that can beat the other best smartphones with touchscreen option.

Toshiba TG01 was unveiled this week with its features which are extra ordinary, and superior to similar other phones like the Apple iPhone, HTC touch in terms of the screen size, slim body etc.
It measures 5.10 x 2.80 x 0.38 in, i.e. its just 9.9 mm thick and so its too slim when compared to many other phones. And the main point about it is the 4.1″ screen which is bigger than the large HTC Touch HD screen. So can be called the biggest mobile screen till now.

It comes with Qualcomm snapdragon 1GHz chipset, and has most of the multimedia features that a smartphone should have. There is built-in GPS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and also full support for flash, so that watching flash content is totally supported in Toshiba TG01.
There is something similar to the W-series of Sony Ericsson phones where you had to shake the device to jump through songs, but shaking here can accept/disconnect an incoming call.
It is developed with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and has embedded apps like Pocket office, browser, email client etc.

The camera on the back is of 3.2 megapixel and can help in both picture and video capture. The external memory can be upto 32 GB and that can be done with a MicroSD card.
The phone would be announced with the pricing during Summer this year.
