tweetqa logoThere are very few concepts in twitter which are actually helpful, and which really help you when you are in need of some suggestions/help from your twitter friends.
And one of those which you can find as helpful one is TweetQA, which is a really simple site but helpful in many ways if you try to find.
According to the site -

Tweet QA or Question & Answer, is a wonderful way of finding answers to questions. Tweet QA uses the twitter api to search for all tweets containing ‘does anyone know?’ and displays them here for people to help answers thoughts simpler questions in life.

To get your questions on here, just post a tweet as usual, on twitter, containing ‘does anyone know’ and also with a question mark at the end of your question. You can reply to other peoples questions really easily, by clicking the ‘Answer This Question’ link, please note, you must be logged into twitter already for replies to work correctly.

tweetqa questions

Here is how it is helpful -

  • When you are new to twitter, and have very few followers, you can’t get replies from everyone who follows you, when you ask a question. But people who are not following you would also answer your questions if you are shown in TweetQA.
  • Helps you find people to follow – Try to ask questions related to particular topics of your interest. People who answer to them surely might be related to what you are interested in. So this helps in finding the best people in particular topics.
  • Gain the number of followers – Keep answering questions of people and then get followed by them(confirming this as i answered 4-5 people and 4 followed me).

Sometimes very simple tools can do big stuff and TweetQA is one of them.
Just browse through the questions in TweetQA and answer them if you are familiar and know any of those, and get involved into good discussions at Twitter.
While writing this post, there are 1,959 twitter questions indexed in the site and the number is increasing as the tweets with “Does anyone know” phrase are being posted in twitter.
