For T-Mobile subscribers in USA who are using an unlocked version of Sony Ericsson Z310a mobile phone, most of them might be facing problems in opening picture messages and ring tones that they are receiving from others.

When you receive a ringtone/picture message in your inbox, you might probably see this error when trying to open it in the unlocked phone -
“Download Failed. Internet Profile error. Please check your settings.”

Here is what you need to check and do to fix that problem -

Go to your picture message settings in T-Mobile settings, and then you would see the options which you have to set in the following way -

WAP GW IP Address:
216.155.165.050

APN Name:
wap.voicestream.com

Messaging Server:

http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms

Data Mode:
Connection Oriented

And you are done. Receive a picture message and check whether it is opening now or not. The same trick is for a few other Sony Ericsson and Samsung mobiles.
