Nice points you mentioned there. Wordpress is always the best, with the availability of plugins, themes and many other customization options.

In the span of 7 years I've had self-hosted WP and tried several different free services including Blogger, LiveJournal, Vox and WordPress.com. Honestly, so far WordPress.com has beat them all because of two important points - support and the user-to-user forum.

Seriously, though, WordPress.com in my opinion can be a bit daunting for anyone who is completely uninitiated but decided this morning that they just have to have a blog and dives right in without any background reading or research, ie the FAQs or forums. As an aside, my daughter brought me a copy of "WordPress for Dummies" and it was a pleasant surprise to see three or so chapters devoted to COM. Most of that information is available in the existing WordPress.com FAQs, but *kof* is a little more accessible. Hopefully, the FAQs are being updated along with the rest of COM. :)

Wordpress has an unlimited number of advantages, take the self-hosted version into consideration as the free version is good for just writing and no customization.
Blogger is one of the traditional ones with nothing much to work on it,and the designs have never been great with the blogger platform. But wordpress developers and users have built thousands of themes and plugins which makes the customization far better.

Well my dear friend i understand ur words and respect them but the thing that I would like to tell you at this point is that the first thing at Blogger w guys own the blog it is not owned by google or blogger, com and we can also use our custom domains instead of the thing you mentioned.
Apart from this we guys can also build a brand name from blogger but ya I believe if it was an independent software the it would have been better../
have a nice day
