Honestly, so far WordPress.com has beat them all because of two important points - support and the user-to-user forum. Seriously, though, WordPress.com in my opinion can be a bit daunting for anyone who is completely uninitiated but decided this morning that they just have to have a blog and dives right in without any background reading or research, ie the FAQs or forums. As an aside, my daughter brought me a copy of "WordPress for Dummies" and it was a pleasant surprise to see three or so chapters devoted to COM. Most of that information is available in the existing WordPress.com FAQs, but *kof* is a little more accessible. Blogger is one of the traditional ones with nothing much to work on it,and the designs have never been great with the blogger platform. But wordpress developers and users have built thousands of themes and plugins which makes the customization far better.
