I think WordPress peak was at 2.6.5. This situation reminds me of Windows XP vs Windows Vista. Some people just don't like Vista and still to this day use XP. The only problem is that I don't think WordPress will provide updates and support WordPress 2.6.5. I hope they do, because I seriously don't like the WordPress 2.7 interface. I find it very clunky and hard to find things. I really don’t like 2.7 as much as 2.6.5. I think WordPress peak was at 2.6.5.

It seems to having some bugs right now. The write page/post section looks chunk with the side menu especially the publish and attributes menus on right of the writing area hides some of the toolbar.
