The 3.3-inch, 480 x 272 OLED capacitive touchscreen display, built-in HD Radio receiver, HD output, Wi-Fi and an internet browser – Zune HD from microsoft is coming soon. And the pricing for the same has been leaked through BestBuy and Amazon.com!

The launch date is expected to be set on Sept. 8, 2009 so not far away. And this Zune HD is a classic competition to any other media player on the same range, like the Apple iPod touch and the rumored iPod Nano 5G.
Multi-touch enabled internet browser, enabling users to browse with fullscreen feature. Wi-Fi enabled Zune HD makes it easy to go online and search for the favorite tracks from the music stores.
I’m already a big fan of the design of Zune HD, giving it the name of one of the best designed products from Microsoft. And now the pricing too is not that high. This should surely be my next buy if Microsoft is fast enough to ship the product to India in lesser time than Apple products do.
The price is lesser than that of the iPod touch from Apple(Both 16GB and 32 GB ones), though i love Apple products always! Expecting the interface too to be a big hit.
Now after using the Windows Phone 7 interface, I feel that was inspired from the interface of the Microsoft Zune. The large and simple text instead makes it look beautiful and classy.
This player surely gives a tough competition to the iPod by Apple but still the different iPod versions make it miles ahead of any other media player.
Before the release of this phone only these guys have fixed a price but will it be so true as you said , it may be an publicity trick for my knowledge.
